In the history of automobile prototypes, all finished components were made by people called sheet metal workers (“Battilastra”).
We prefer to call them “Sheet Metal Artists” as these modellers had the ability to take regular pieces of sheet metal and turn them into vehicle bodies using only simple tools.
This laborious craft, requiring in-depth knowledge on sheet metal forming, often passed down from father to son, is extremely important for a company like ours that makes prototypes.
In 2014 we set up a fully self-sufficient area specialised in this type of work which has attracted considerable interest from our customers because of the quality of the products we make.
